Decorative painting and faux finishing can be applied to a wide variety of finishes. The possibilities are endless, everything from light fixtures to wood ceiling beams have the possibility of altering the appearance of them through the use of color and texture. Other examples are painting a metal item to look like wood, taking a wood door and making it look like rusted metal, or taking a new white stone fireplace and aging it to look as though it had been in the space for years.
